The successful candidate must have the following experience:

  • Degree/College Diploma in the Civil discipline from an accredited institution
  • Member of APEGA or ASET
  • Ideally a minimum of 5 years’ experience in site inspections and contract administration on construction projects
  • Previous Municipal Infrastructure project experience a definite asset
  • Proficient in computers and related software packages
  • Excellent communication skills both orally and written
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Survey skills would be an asset, including proficiency with GPS
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD would be an asset

    Accountabilities include (but not limited to):

  • Site inspections
  • Overseeing construction compliance of contract works against contract documents
  • Site Instructions
  • Related reporting activities
  • Shop drawing reviews
  • Contract administration
  • Review construction costs and schedules
