The successful candidate must have the following experience:

  • Accredited Education (University Degree/College Diploma) in the Civil discipline
  • Ideally a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related or equivalent position (inspection and contract administration)
  • Proficient in computers and related software packages
  • Excellent communication skills both orally and written
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Survey skills would be an asset, including proficiency with GPS
  • Previous experience in Municipal, Water Co-op, or Water Resources projects a definite asset
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD would be an asset.

    Accountabilities include (but not limited to):

  • Analyzing construction costs and schedules
  • Field inspection
  • Overseeing construction compliance of contract works against contract documents
  • Site Instructions
  • Related reporting activities
  • Shop drawing reviews
  • Contract administration
  • Scheduling and claims analysis
